[...] I wanted to leave by 10:30, so I had a little breakfast, changed my clothes, cleaned the bathroom, and packed some lunch for Randy and me. I didn't leave the house until about 10:40, but the only things I ended up wishing I had brought with me were: a shopping bag for garbage, a long-sleeved shirt for the sun, a hat (also for the sun) and sunblock...also for the sun. Oh, and some water.
I got to the airport with a few minutes to spare before Randy's plane landed.
He finally came through Security, his luggage finally showed up on the carousel, and we were OUTTA THERE!
We took North Temple straight downtown, and I parked in the shade of a tree in the chapel parking lot that I use when I go to the Family History Center.
We ate some lunch first, then got out and walked over to the Conference Center...
...Temple Square...
...the Joseph Smith Memorial Building (locked), past the Lion House and the Beehive House [and the Eagle Gate]...
...and the Church Office [Building] and back to Temple Square for a while.
We eventually drove up past the Capitol and hiked up to Ensign Peak...
...then drove to the "This Is The Place" monument...
...and back to the airport to pick up Sue. At home Randy & I started looking at the luggage mounting problems on the Yellow bike, while Sue made a yummy dinner.
